Be Moved a film by award-winning filmmaker, Jane Pittman, tells the story of the Choreographers Collaboration Project (CCP), a modern dance company based in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, from its beginnings in 1999 to now. The film brings together perspectives of company members, community members, students, and artistic collaborators and focuses on the impact of CCP on the individuals and the communities within Alexandria. This is a story not just about dance, but the much broader narrative about the arts, specifically how a small local dance company can strengthen, build, and create a community that can last a lifetime.

The film includes videos clips of CCP performances since 1999 and interviews with CCP members, students, and collaborators.  The film is a celebration of the commitment of all who have supported CCP.
A panel discussion, including Jane, Mary Jo, and Janet will follow the film.
